Long time passing

I am for keeping the blog for Grace Connections if the majority wishes to do so. You know, being for democracy and all! I will tell you this, it did my heart good this a.m. to see the photo of the Garden of Gethsemane and know that Jesus went to that very place for solace. Aah, solace with the Father!

I also want to say today that I appreciate your patience and tolerance with Shelby opening up at Grace Connections the other night. She has not expressed so many of her feelings in a long time and she feels so loved and welcomed by all of you. (I am not really positive what all she is going through right now but she stayed at our home almost every night last week.) She was so excited when we left that she said she would like to "lead" a devotion one time. Isn't that what it is all about, being the examples that our children can follow? Don't panic; she will not be leading it when it is at our home this next time and Steve and I are looking forward to having all of you over.

In "My Utmost for His Highest", Mr. C. said today, "Only a child gets prayer answered; a wise man does not. Prayer is a battle; it is a matter of indifference where you are. Whichever way God engineers circumstances, the duty is to pray. Never allow the thought-"I am of no use where I am;" because you certainly can be of no use where you are not."

Loving you in Christ, your sister, Pam

I am glad she felt that she could open up with all of us. We sure enjoyed having everyone over. Love,
